Latour makes a supplementary acquisition to REAC

Investment AB Latour has through REAC AB signed an agreement to acquire a business in Poland from Ergolet Group. The business includes the manufacture of components for actuators and tilt- and lift systems. REAC AB is part of Latour Industries business area.

The acquisition will strengthen REAC’s market position in the segment of electric wheelchairs. It will create opportunities for REAC to improve competitiveness, capacity and create a foundation for future growth.

The transaction is made through REAC’s recently established subsidiary, REAC Components. The company will have annual sales of about SEK 30 m, and is based in Jasien, Poland. Closing date is planned May 1st 2015.

REAC is based in Åmål, Sweden, with a turnover of SEK 245 m and has 150 employees. REAC develops, manufactures and markets actuators and tilting and lifting systems to customers in the market segment electric wheelchairs.
